Got GC! Should I Still take Employer Abuse?
I recently got my employment based Green card approval. I was working till now on a project for my employer as consultant. I am very unhappy on my project and plan to leave it due to never ending pressures. He had forced me to take this project with low billing rate since he did not want me on bench(without work) even for short period of time.
My leaving the project will inflame my relation with my employer, since he looses steady income and does not want me on bench. Staying on project is becoming very tough for me. He has been pressurizing me to continue on the project.
I am not planning to resign myself from his company for another 6 months but I fear once I leave the project it might become ugly.
My employer has also been firing people who are on bench. He recently gave very hard time to another friend of mine who was on H1b and on bench.
Q1. What will happen if I am fired OR he complains to USCIS?
Q2. Can he harm my GC if I do not voluntarily resign from his company?
Q3. Can he complain to USCIS just because he does not have project for me?
