got FP2 notice later than schedule time

Just like I predicted, we got our FP2 notice on Saturday. But the scheduled time was last Thursday. We went there this morning. They are closed on Monday.

They are just wasting time and money. Our FP1 was done last May 23. They picked up our file this July. They just approved our H1-extension. Everything was fine. They had every reason to approve our 485 before our FP expiration. But they issued RFE asking our Birth Certificate. We reponsed immidiately. They got our response on Aug 10. They still have time to approve before FP expires. But they wait till Sep 2nd and sent us the FP2 notice. They mailed it on Sep 9th which was the scheduled date.

How stupid things are!

This happened to me as well. FP2 notice received latter then scheduled time... However when I went on following Tuesday they refused to have our FP done that day as asked me to rescheduled it... I received my reschedule notice for Oct 2nd. I have seen some of them here were able to get their FP2 done on the next business day eventhough notice received latter then schedule appt.. Try it out tomorrow..

What was the RFE on Birth Cert about?. Didnt you submit your BC initially while filing application?

Thanks. I'm afraid that we need to reschedule it too.

We did send our BC at the beginning. But it was a copy. This time we sent the original one. I don't know if they accepted it.
