Got FP, what is the process for early FP?

I got FP notice today to give FP at Charlotte scheduled on 1/15/05. I would like to give early FP as I will be on vacation during that time. What is the procedure to do that? Do I need to make an appointment at InfoPass or can I just walk-in and give it? Is Charlotte center opened on Saturdays?

Just walk into the Charlotte ASC. I would say go after 10:30 Am on Saturdays
I went in the first week of November and didnt have any problems. Infact the staff at Charlotte are very courteous.Good Luck
 
Not sure about Fridays - I had had thought that Wednesdays and Saturdays are normally when people are called for FP but I may be wrong. Perhaps weekdays it might be even better you can try . To tell you my experience we thought going early on Sat is better since we are from Raleigh NC and didnt want to keep driving down to Charlotte. However there is a que in front of the office before it opens this is not just for FP lot of other cases come there too. By the time we left it was close to 10 AM and the crowd was significantly thinner and the officials had more time to consider your request. Infact though we were not turned away - our other friend who come in a little later than us was asked to come in later in the afternoon since the centre was so crowded.
Just go there and show them your letter and answer their questions do not offer long explanations unless asked - dont force them to enforce rules. If you keep harping on the fact that you are there early they might have to ask you to come in later.The officials there are very nice so i dont think you will have a problem. So be pleasent and Good luck

I also need to travel from Raleigh (Cary) and since Friday is a work day I thought the volume would be light. Since you and other people in this forum had first hand experience on Saturday's why wouldn't I try on Saturday? My wife who gave her FP in Raleigh (in March) went on Saturday and there were hardly any people when we went there (at around 1.30pm).
 
fp time!!!!

i just got notice from my attorney that I have been scheduled for FP's on Jan 20. But they have scheduled me for my old office before I moved, So I am going to be trying to get an appointment with Charlotte too. I had heard a lot of problems have come from Raleigh, so Charlotte sounds better.
pleae post your experiences after you go.
 
Did early FP today (Sat 12/11/04). Went there at 11.30am and was asked to come back at 2pm as there were lots and lots of people. Tried after 15 minutes and was able to get a serial number (as the person at the reception who initially told me to come back at 2pm went for lunch) and it took around an hour to give my FP. People at Charlotte ASC were nice. Gave FP on the computer system and was given a receipt.

i did early FP in charlotte

I did early FP2 at charlotte. Went on a saturday and everything went fine there.

Got a second FP notice (all the details same as the first FP notice a week ago). Anyone has similar experience of receiving two FP notices in a span of one week?

Also there was a discussion about Priority date on the FP notice but I don't see a Priority date column on my FP notice. Could you please share what your FP notice reads?
