Got FP notice from CSC- Can I go before scheduled date?

I received FP notice form CSC yesterday. Can I do FP before teh scheduled date? Do I have to call them in advance?

You finally got the FP notice. Did you get your name check cleared? Or it is still pending in FBI.

I thinnk you can, provided they have bandwidth to handle the request. I went on saterday at @ 11:00 AM (before my Appointment Date) they had people with appointment. They asked me to come back at 3:00 PM, I went and finished the FP.

I sent an e-mail to FBI. Now I will wait for 6 months. In the meanwhile, I will initiate an FOIPA request.

I am a little confused here. I thought that FBI do the name check AFTER they get your FP result. Is that right? I noticed that your FP notice is June 30 and clearly you didn't do the FP yet. Please clarify this issue for me.
