Got FP Notice...but

Hi All,

I moved from New Orleans to Richmond in 2003.

I have informend INS about my address change. Still they scheduled FP at my old place. I got FP Notice scheduled at New Orleans on 02/10/05.

I have the following questions

1) Is it OK to take FP at New Orleans? ( I am not living there any more)

Or

2) Can I take the same Notice to local INS office here in Richmond?

Or

3)Call INS office and reschedule FP at Richmond?

Any one in this kind of situation ? and what did you do?

Please advice.

There is no ASC in Richmond. You either have to go to Norfolk or Alexandria for your FP. I am assuming Richmond, VA and not Richmond, CA.

You can try your luck at early FP at one of either places.

Change of address does not matter for FP


Hi guys,
I have gone through this.
While applying for I140 and I485, I was in Wisconsin.
I recently moved to NJ.

Through attorney, I got the copy of FP notification for myself and original FP notification for my wife, both sent to my Wisonsin address.

The attorney also gave a supporting letter saying I need to go to the local center.

The appointment was at Wisconsin on Feb 3,2005 at 10 am.

I went to Newark,NJ FP center at the same time and got FP done for both of us.

No questions asked. So dont worry.
