Got fingure printing notice again. What does this mean

I and my wife got the fingure printing done on Jun18 in cincinnati OH. Yesterday I recevied another notice from INS for FP to be done Aug 22 2002. There is no reason specified in it. Can anybody help me what does it mean. I called to FBI , and they said FP is completed on Jun18, and results have been sent to INS.

I have not called the FBI yet. I guess it would be a good idea to call them, though.

I wonder why we are not getting any replies for our postings on this site. Everyone is busy merrymaking for approvals and not seem to care about the problems the lesser fellas are having.

I asked my Attorney, He said that there is a program glitch and most current FP notices are duplicated. I think one come with our LIN# and the other like an internal case number.
So if you get 2 notices before you go for FP take both notices and go for the first one.
If you get another one after your FP call FBI at 304-625-5590 and if everything is OK disregard it

Talked to attorney

I talked to my attorney and she asked me to go again. I have called FBI and they said everything is ok. My attorney relpied me saying its better to do too much instead of too less and asked me to go to fingure printing again.

2nd FP

Usually attorneys (and the INS themselves) will ask you to ignore your 2nd FP notice. 2nd FP is required only if it has been 15 months since the first one and there is still no decision on you I-485 case. Check with IIO.
