Hi folks i called to uscis 1800 no couple of weeks ago and talked with io regarding the status of my family bassed i485 cas and he told me that he is gonna send an email to msc and then they will send me the return email regarding the status of my case.Today i got and e mail in my hotmail account from uscis stating that we have issued u an appointment letter on 14th andc ur case is in suspense till the interview date, wot does that mean and nyone have any idea about that??

First, when you call 1-800 you do NOT talk to IO. Those are clerks who have ZERO information.

Second, you have to go to the interview. Or if you want to know more info (and personally I'd recommend it) schedule the infopass and talk to REAL IO before the interview, so at least you'd know what's going on and what you have to bring to the interview.

It's kinda weird you didn't receive any real letter for interview. Everyone I know got nothing in email, but real paper.
