I am not sure whether my employer will agree to pay for my EAD.
Also, my wife as a school teacher will not have this benefit for sure. So, i wonder if we can save on taxes...
The answer is yes possibly or yes definitely. If you are on payroll it will be a miscellaneous deduction (but they don't start to count until they exceed 2% of your adjusted gross income). If you have independent contractor income (or statutory employee income) then it is a simple business expense on your schedule C.

Unless you guys are talking about itemized deductions, these are not. Even under itemized deductions I do not think these are tax dedcutible. Check with your CPA.
