Your EAD was approved even before you had your 1st FP done ?
Interesting, I thought FP was a prerequisite for EAD...

You may need to wait for SSN
My wife, who also got EAD yesterday, went to SSN office for applying her SSN. They didn't even accepted the application and asked to come on Tuesday (21st). They are saying that this is pretty new application and their computer doesn't yet recognize it. At least they should have accepted the application and alloted the number when its deemed possible. Making trips just for applying is no good.
So, please wait for a week or so before hitting the SSN office.
