got approved ND 10/6/00

Hello All,

I just heard the magic words "your case has been approved".
both, My case and my wife\'s case has been approved on August 24th 2001.
Details below.

EB2, RIR, India
RD: Sept 11th 2000
ND: Oct 6th 2000
FP: sometime in Jan 2001
RFE: notice issued on 2nd August for employment verification letter and last 3 pay stubs.
INS received RFE reply on August 17th, AVM updated on the same day.
Green card approval on August 24th 2001.

finally the long wait is over.. still cannot beleive its over.
Every time I hear the AVM i hope for to hear the magic words and if not the magic words, atleast the same message...I always used to pray not to hear that the case is transfered etc etc.

When did you sent out your replied RFE? I want to count how many days for INS to receive your RFE, as my AVM hasn\'t been updated. Thanks.

It took about 1 week (actually 8 days) from the day my lawyer mailed the RFE info to the day INS updated its AVM and about 10 days for the approval from the day INS received the RFE info.
