got approved from local office

My case was transfer from INS Nebraska to Oregen in May. Then transfer to Florida in August. In November 20,2002. I went to the INS office in Jacksonville, Florida for a interview. The office told me the process stopped. The day before yesterday, I received a approval notice from INS office in Jacksonville. The INS online tracking is not updated yet. It is hard to say INS in Nebraska has started approval of I-485. But at least the local office has started. Good luck to you all.

did you enquire how much time they take for an interview.

my case got transferred to oregon just yesterday 9th jan to portland Oregon
