I had applied for AP in Texa Service Center. Meanwhile my father was admitted to hospital due to sudden illness. I went to local ins and got the ap without any problem.

I asked my relatives to fax me a letter from the Dr. who is attending my father in india, about the condition of my father and asking me to start immediately.

I got another letter from employer to be in the safer side, stating the same.

Just went to the local bcis office , they asked me whether do i have an appointment, i said no. I said it is an emergency, they asked me to show the proof. I showed the fax i got from india along with the letter from employer.

Then they asked me to see the supervisor .He seems to be nice guy and forwarded my request to another officer who was really nice and asked me to give my application for advance parole. Just asked me to show the proof that the patient is my father, i showed my passport , where i have father's name. Thats it.

The West Palm office only services you if you live in Palm Beach County or north. The Miami office will service you if you live in Dade or Broward county.

To all

My wife AP which was pending since 12/02 finally got approved and received yesterday. What a miserable center is TSC
