Hmm... i thought you had this taken care of when your lawyer filed your I-864. Some lawyer huh?

I just got an RFE too, not sure for what though. I'm think it might also be for the joint sponsorship thing as my husband can't show any W2s or tax forms as he was out of the country for the last 3 years!!! So, I don't know, we did add a notarised letter stating his reasons and whatnot. That's probably it. *SIGHS*

The A# of who? if you are talking bout your A# you won't have one until you send all the papers and when you get your receipts (as you had your receipts now). So it can't be because of that.

But your husband fill out the I-864 anyway, right?
cherr1980 I have a A# and we had to wait to get that before they would accept the joint sponsor...I got that june 12th so now we have to send the joint stuff in and also my brother in law needed to get his BC because he couldnt find it so thats also the delay in adding that to the file...should have the RFE monday or tuesday and know exactly what its for but I think its the joint sponsor they are going to ask for we will see
