got a reply from USCIS Ombudsman's office staff

USCIS Ombudsmans office staff replied to my email yesterday (it took a month) and they gave me the same status information, ie background check pending and asked me whether the issues has been resolved already between the time I sent the email and their reply.

dont know what they are going to reply to my reply and how long that one is going to take

any similar obudsman experience?

Did you send their office an email? if so, would u mind sharing it with us so others can benefit?

Oh by the way, i sent the ombudsman's office a letter when my case was pending before the denial, and it took them 3 months to reply with the following,"USCIS is processing application from xx/xx/xxxx and you are not reached yet" or some crap like that. Absolutely useless in my case, who knows, they might be usefull in ur case.

What is the email if you don't mind sharing it?

I doubt very much the effectiveness of the Ombudsman's office. Unlike Europe most Ombudsman type positions in the US are toothless tigers. He can only report to Congress and the current Republican majoirty congress has done nothing on the immigration reform front.

.... Absolutely useless in my case, who knows, they might be usefull in ur case.

I explained my situation a little bit and with a detailed timeline including all the dates of the call that I made to the 1800 number and their answers(note: I received different answers from different customer reps)

then at the end my info with the alien registration number, form type, interview office

thats all
