what is this funda with USCIS
my application for masters quota was rejected today. i applied it through the masters quota with the letter.(graduating may 4th) i applied it on the 4th of april.
i see so many of them have gotten an accept.

can any body tell me if i can contact anybody with this at the USCIS?

thanks

Reapply ASAP with the letter as well as the transcripts. That seems to work. Don't waste your time trying to get in touch with anybody at USCIS.

two employers applying same time

I re- applied immediately along with a course completion letter through a consultant.
my employer will also be applying (he will be doing it for the first time) tomorrow morning.

conclusively i am applying through two employers(actual employer and a consultant).

what will happen if which one is accepted?

thanks

what was the content of the letter of completion? was it issued by the registrar's office of your university?

I applied using a letter of completion and was given a receipt.

now the letter states the course work is complete and will be graduating on the 4th may. the earlier one gave details of me doing masters and not completion date and stuff.

my question is what will happen if both are accepted? this time.

How credible was your employer ?

There are several factors that play into the decision making process.

Certainly your credentials have a role.

And also the company's credibility.

If you've reapplied and got the receipt not at your second attempt, then congrats.
If you were denied because you Master's degree was not complete, then all you could do is wait for another year to have a Master's transcript ready.

As far as companies credibility is concerned, you should always make sure that you find the right company to file your h1b. to see where you company stands, and or to rate your present or past companies, please visit http://www.rahasiam.com and give your inputs.

Goodluck dost.

My case was applied on april 2nd in masters quota...my employer told me that the appliation was sent back as it was not selected in the lottery....he says we correctly applied in masters quota by checking the right check boxes and stuff...and that uscis made the mistake of considering it under regular cap...
he refiled the application with a cover letter mentioning the situation....
any chance that it would be accepted now that the quota for masters is also reached?
anyone who has gone thru this process or going thru this process plss help...
