Got a Query on H1, Can i travel on L1

Hi,

I am currently working in India for company A. I have valid L1/B1 for Company A. I have applied for H1 for 2008 from outside. But i got a management query on my H1 and asked for additional documents for evidence, my consultant provided all the required documents and the processing is resumed.

Now my company A in india is planning to send me to U.S on L1.
Can i travel on Company A L1 while i have query procesion on H1 (from the consultant). Will i have any problems at port of entry regarding this.

Please help me as my company is asking me to travel next week.

I appreciate if any one suggest on this. Thanks.
 
You can travel based on L-1 and you will not have any problems. Just make sure that you are carrying all L-1 related documents with you, although the only thing that the POE officer would generally ask for is I-797 notice. Of course, they would ask for the passport to check validity, Visa, etc.
