got a call from immigration officer for home visit appointment

Hi

Today I got a call from an officer in "immigration and customs enforcement" asking for an appointment to visit my residence for checing my immigration status.
I am on H1B visa.

I would appreciate if someone could give any sort of information related to calling for a home visit.

If everything you are doing is legal there is no need to fear, let them come. But make sure they are really ICE officers by asking them for their id.
 
This is interesting. Please update your experience in case visit happens so that others can benefit.

As long as you are doing everything right, I do not see any issues. Yes, pls check their IDs first.
