Hi bhankas,
My attorney applied for my EAD. He asked me to send photos , check and copy of the current EAD. I sent him the copy of the stub that comes with EAD. I am not sure whether he attached it along with the form.
Feb2002case - not only our RD and ND are same, my EAD also expires on 3/29/03. The renewed EAD is valid from 3/30/03 to 3/29/04. You should be getting your EAD in a week or two. Though I got my EAD on 15th, we use our employers guest house address as permanent address (its in VA), probably they must have got it by12th. I am in NJ.
There was a thread running for Feb filers, but now due to the slowdown no one is updating the FEB thread I guess. Keep in touch. The following is the URL for Feb thread.

I never had my EAC# for the EAD renewal application. Infact I mailed my attorney on 2/14 asking for the receipt no so that I can check status online, and got my card on 2/15. You may get your card within a week. Do't worry, your current card is valid till 3/29, you can start with the new job .
