Hi,
I am using Google adsense to generate additional revenue. The website is my personal blog which became famous. This is my first year and earnings will be about $10000 for this year. I was hoping to show this as additional miscellaneous revenue on my IRS taxes. But looks like Google will send u an 1099 MISC form and many forums just say that H1 are not allowed for self employment (1099). Is it true and is there any way I can file these under Miscellaneous income in my regular filing? How important is this rule? Please help me out. Is it safe to file 1099? Will INS penalize me in future?

Thanks
