I believe (or at least hope) that he means that the Bush administration is studying this at a senior level and will propose remedial legislation soon.

I hope it'll go through the system very quickly. It's in nobody's interests to delay asylee adjustment. I don't see real opposition to the lift of the cap.

The worst that can happen is for this issue to be forgotten, which has already happened.
 
Naah nothing is going to happen. They will never allow Asylee's to become Citizens quickkly..The last thing they want to do is invite more REfugess in this country...

I hope so, because they have to take care of us first :D

Anyway, we will see after October 1 when the new dates will be released.
