As quoted from my laywer:

at the last liaison meeting between AILA and CSC, CSC said that at the beginning of a new fiscal year (October 2003) they will begin working on the AOS backlog. Blessed is he who believes...

We've been hearing this since sillyman was silly baby. After october comes Christmas .. personally my hopes are pegged at 2004.

May be they may start since they have moved JIT also, I wish they work on them. If they are just trying to wipe our tears oh god save us.

!!! Good news ???

Each time there was such a news, I trusted it at most 50%.

This time I strongly believe it is true. I want to believe it. I need to believe it!

My lawyer said the same thing ....

I wrote to my lawyer too. He also said that the JIT has moved and that they have started working on 485 backlog .......

I doubt that!!!

Do not worry though, JIT has moved it will stay as is for sometime coz' holiday season is coming. The only thing which BCIS officials are particular about is the holiday season. Rest of the year the BCIS is extremely bz doing all sorts of approvals. Their brain is really tired so they need to rest.

the congress member's office that put in a expedite request for my 485 a month ago informed me that CSC is going to priortize EB-485s after October and that the information is from the Director's office

should i believe this?

The BCIS might be a liar.
However, it might be true that the current backlog drove the BCIS to say the CSC would priortize EB-485s after October, even if it was a lie.
We need to keep bringing pressure on the BCIS until elimination of backlog.

We should wish Merry Christmas and Happy Thanksgiving to the BCIS,
and Happpy New "Fiscal" Year 2004.
