Good News.....November 2005 Visa Bulletin

Don't speard false information. Where does it say Nov 2005. It says Oct 2005
and the dates are incorrect even for Oct 2005.

Are you sure ?

Dil,
Are you sure you interpreted the report correctly?

The report at the link still says it as "PRIORITY DATES FOR THE MONTH OF OCTOBER 2005" which was out on US Dept. of State's web site almost 3 weeks back (http://travel.state.gov/visa/frvi/bulletin/bulletin_2631.html)

Looks like it is a typo error on US embassy New Delhi web site where they might have mistakenly taken China's Priority date for India.

But I wish it were true :)

Only EB3 is affected

Sorry there is no movement for EB1 and EB2, but EB3 moved in the latest report published on New Delhi Embassy. I assume no responsibility for the data, as I am simply reading from there.
Thanks
Dil

Embassy in Belgrade have posted exact same numbers as New Delhi.
Since Belgrade is in Europe they posted priority dates only for worldwide.

Looks like there is NO bulletin for November... in the past there were many times there was no bulletins for months... if you check the bulletin archive you will come to know about that...

If there is no news, why bother to post a bulletin? :) Actually, not having a bulletin is better :) we don't have to worry about crunching the dates and banging our heads to the wall again for a while... :) instead we can go to a movie and have fun :)

Or they could be waiting for Oct 18 senate hearing on Immigration Reforms. May be we will have a December bulletin.

I would not interpret those to be the worldwide dates. They are posting dates that are relavant to their own country. To Serbians, their EB priority dates are all current as of October. There is no reason for them to post dates for India or China.

There is no separate chargeability for Serbians in previous bulletins. The only countries who have their own chargeabilities are India, China, Mexico and Phillipines. Rest of the world is addressed under the "other".

master_chari is right, in the past there were no bulletins for months.............

Oct.18 immigration reforms dont think will give us better hopes for employment categories, they always give for illegal immigrants, refugees, lotterys, asylum etc but not for legal, skilled, talented and hard workers people who contributed and contributing lot and will do more after getting GC.

So pl. dont keep any hopes for that.

I completely agree with dice12. These bills are all about illegals only. No one cares about skilled people who are honest and hard working. This is one of the main reason this country's growth is heading towards wrong direction.

dice,

Jan 1998 for EB3 may be correct as far as USCIS calculations are concerned. Also, their caution that it will move slow may also be true. All these are based on the current immigration laws. So, it will take years for people to get their GCs now. :)

But, that is going to make a lot of people (hundreds of thousands) unhappy which is not good for this country. The only solution to the problem is to amend the laws. That is what we should hope that Senate committee will try to address on Oct 18.

If this retrogression is articificial and is not based on real calculations, but created to discourage people continuing here and pushing them to go back to India/China, it may not be a success. As nobody might leave so easily.

I'm thinking to go back China if I can't get I-485 approval in next 6 months (which looks dim) since all my friends in China made more money than I do. I wonder what I'm doing here with this stup*d card. I have some other friends also thinking going back. The era of America is gone if government don't change it strategy (including hostile to immigrants).
