USCIS Prioritizes Backlog Reduction in FY2005 Budget
Washington, D.C.- U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) today requested $1.711 billion in the FY2005 budget, including a 60% increase in funding dedicated to the reduction of the immigration benefits backlog. The FY2005 budget requests $140 million in discretionary funding and $1.57 billon in mandatory funding, or fee revenues for legal immigration benefits. Read more, including fact sheet.:)

Sorry to be cynical about this my friend!!!!!

This has been a news that is out for a few weeks now.

This will not address anything immediately as 2005 starts only in Oct 2004.

Above all have you forgotten the fact that it is always lies from them anyway!!!! Mr.President promised a 6-month processing time about 4 years back. I for one failed to realize other than high level influences government in no way can do that.... USCIS every now then takes adjudicators away from EB category....

WAKE UP!!!!

Mr. Rajiv seems to be the only ray of hope and light we have!!!!

Every day I am getting so disappointed with the way things are going and we all lose our dignity in this process....

Just a frustrated waiter!!!!
