I was enlightened today as I went for an infopass one week after I came out of my interview with a decision cannot be made.

My oath date is on April 24th at noon!!!

It has been a long and winding road but perseverence and patience does help.

My infopasses have been very useful, I recently switched apartments and was afraid the oath letter would be lost in the mail. The IO at the Chicago office told me that they had just sent out the letter today (April 9th) and I should still show up on the 24th even if I don't get my letter.

Globeseer, keep checking because we might have the same oath date.

Hang in there everyone who is waiting and please do let me know if you have any questions regarding the process my experience, etc. This forum has been incredibly useful and I will be very glad to keep contributing.

Also, does anyone know how I can get an expedited passport? I need to travel a few days after the oath date.

I had interview the same day, 4/2/07, in Jacksonville, FL though. I hope to get the Oath letter some time this week since there is an Oath ceremony scheduled here for 4/26/07.

Congrats eo23!! I haven't had chance to come to this board since Jan and am delighted to see your progress! We had the same PD and I'm still not hearing anything.... In your opinion does a second infopass work?

I'm still stuck in waiting the interview letter after 8 months waiting. You are really lucky. Happy for you! Did you do anything to expedite the process?
