it has been confirmed by embassy.
that we can either get PCC clearnace certificate eithe from consulate in US. or even from regional passport office:
In addition to wht we need from local police.
In India:
New Delhi RPO: issue PCC within max 2 weeks.
in 1 day of you have you passport issued by Delhi RPO.
so for those who can not get it from US due to shaortage of time...go t9o india early atleast two weeks before hand. so mthat u can get oit from there.
In addition (as a back up)it may be a good idea to also apply for PCCin Us consulate even thugh we kno e can not get it from her before we leave.
As wecan atleast show that to US embassy, an state that tha I was ionformed by you on so an so date and then i applied you nevr gave me ample time.
I am planning to get this letter signed and stamped by consuate in US when i apply for my PCC here in US: laguage is attached below:
