Good Moral Character question

I got a pedestrian citation (jaywalking) in Los Angeles, CA sometime in the year 2002. I do not have a copy of the citation with me. I might have misplaced it.

In the question -

Have you ever been arrested, cited or detained by any law enforcement officer (including USCIS or former INS and military officers) for any reason?

do I need to mention that I got this one?

Thanks.

You only mention things if you have been arrested or fines are more than 500$.Other than that N/A.

Thats not exactly true. You are supposed to mention all citations or offenses, but you only need to provide documentation in the event you were detained/arrested or the fine was more than $500.

I don't think it really matters. Include it if you feel it is appropriate. I *very* much doubt it will come up during your interview; jay-walking is hardly a sign of impaired moral character
