I wanted to know how complicated the citizenship process is. Do we need a lawyer or can we file on our own. If it is advisable to use a lawyer can someone recommend a good ( and cheap) lawyer in SFO bay area.
If yours is a 'straighforward' case, then I believe you should do it on your own. Majority of the people do it on their own. Its pretty simple in terms of filling in the forms and mailing it in with the correct amount fo fees. No harm in getting it doen via a lawyer other than extra lawyer fees.
