Hello,

One of my friends got a job in AZ in a small company. They dont have any H1 candidates with them and are not comfortable to do H1. But they liked her credintials, qualifications and are very impressed with her and willing to take her as permanent employee even though its against their policy of taking H1 candidates.

Now tha problem is they dont want to handle the H1 process, they are willing to be sponsors and provide all the docs required but want her to find the Attorney and handle the H1 B processing her self.

I tried to reach Mr. Jim but after browsing through this forum I feel he may not have licence in AZ.

If you guys know any good lawyer you dealt with please post here.

It seems she has to pay for the H1 costs up front. She is on H4 Visa and not ready to pay huge attorney fees.

No need of license

There is no need to have license in AZ for preparing H1 filing for a worker in AZ. Talk to Jim.

Good Luck
Dumeel.

You're right, immigration is a federal practice. I (and nearly every other immigration attorney) have filed petitions with every service center and LCs in nearly every state. Unless there is a need for a court appearance (there's not in an H-1 case) the attorney does not need to be local of licensed in the state.

Did you ever got hold of JIM

I think Mr. Jim is a real busy man, I tried reaching him via email to take my case, Haven't head back from him.

What about you?

Thanks
