Good article : Tech skills the ticket to best jobs

not so good.
i didn't really like this article that much.
the dude is just hyping microsoft and hi tech in general.
the reality is . . . there were always two classes of people . . . SMART and STUPID. and also a lot of those in between.
it has nothing to do with technology in particular.
there are those who we employ because we have to and those who we employ because we can (reasons include: out of pity, "recommendation", trying to get laid, etc)
the truth is . . . when the economy is bad, we employ more people because we have to and less people because we can.
Unfortunately, when the time comes to lay someone off we lay people off both because we have to and because we can . . .
that's why some of good folks end up on the street as well as the rest of them.
but in general, i have to admit, most of the good guys are still around (unless they went for a startup that went under).
again, i don't think any of this has anything to do with hi tech.
