Hi again!:)

i was wondering if anyone had an advice for this situation:
My naturalization interview is in November in my local USCIS office. I would like to get it done asap. Would it work to go to the local office and ask if it can be done as a walk in or at an earlier date?

Thanks for any input!

I don't think they will accomodate you, it is not like having a fingerprint appointments, there is a lot that get scheduled and they go according to turns and cases in line, interviews are scheduled from a different location than ur local office & your A-File is sent accordingly to that office close to your interview date from Lees Summit, MO where all the A-files are stored.
So even if they want to do it they just can't.

what if i write an express letter to Lees Summit and ask them for an earlier date? but even if they send the a-files to my local office, it must be on its way...the interviewer must prep for my appointment in advance, right? im trying to say that the afile of mine might be in the local office already?

You never know, where its at now, also remember they have to get a name check clearance from FBI and sometimes it comes close to interview and sometimes it takes even longer and even if you pass the interview you will not be approved if its not done.
You are wasting your time, it is not gonna happen

I don't think you'll have much luck speeding up your interview date, but you might have if you ask politely, some concessions done about your oath date if you pass the interview.
