Going to Canada - need help!

Need some help urgently!!

I am going to go to Canada to revalidate my H1b visa, same employer, have paystubs, came to US on H1b - did not change status. I have some questions:

1. My degree is not a US degree, it's from a Eastern European country. Also I did not stamp my original H1b visa in my home country - I got it in other country (not Canada or my home country). Can this be a problem? What's the probability of denial?

2. When I make an appointemt online, do they send a letter by mail or it's just an email or screen printout? What should I show in a Canadian consulate to get a Canadian visa?

3. Can you get a Canadian visa same day if you apply in person?

1) If Canada is not your home country then there is a possibility that they maynot stamp your H1 visa. It was possible in the past but these days it seems they don't but you can always try.

2) Also after you take an appointment online for the H1b visa stamping for US they send you appointment letter and forms which is required to be shown to the doorkeeper if you go to US consulate in Canada.

3) Yes many times you get your visitors visa for Canada the same day.

I m also planning to go to canada for visa stamping..Do you know what is the earliest dates available for appointment and in what cities? I dont see anything available till end of june 2005. Is this true or I m looking at the wrong place?
