Going on EAD. What is the status of my kid.

I am considering going on EAD. 485 filed in Feb. What will be status of my children who are currently on H4 if I go on EAD along with my wife.

If they filed I-485 as beneficiaries of your application then their status including yours is "Adjustment of Status" not H-1 or H-4 if you no longer work on H-1.
