Going in person to VSC for MTR status

If I go in person to VSC and meet the Immigration Officer, does this help to expediate my I-485 process? My MTR is filed in Feb last week. 485 denied with no specific reason. I-140 approved and EAD expiring soon
 
We are in the same boat. I don't understand why the Immigration officer did not comply with the rules that they established. Who can help us?
