Greaty-K has been doing such a wonderful job. He has been pivotal in sustaining this and other portals thru his rupnet/..... efforts.
I wonder why his case is not getting approved (I guess 08/01/2001) any sooner.

My interpretation about him (or her, I don\'t know) (thru his emails on this portal)is that he is a modest, honest and humble person. I wish him good luck.

May I also be blessed soon with approval. RD/ND: 8/9 and 9/28.

This GC process has been a big time sucker: what with missing several imp. social occasions, everyday listening to wife\'s curses (at home, I am construed as a reason for GC delays and not INS, by the wife dear); in-laws feel something is fishy as to why I am telling that 08/01 is the date being processed for, one month, while mine is only 8 days away from that.
My boss has been asking for two months to give him concrete dates for vacation and I keep postponing.

Man, life has never been so much out of control before (and hope ever after). I understand GC is not everything in life, but come on man (I mean INS), let\'s be done with it since it has started.

Guys, sorry for venting out some inner steam.

I hear you man. I can understand the pain... hang on in there for a little more time....

You know u r in much better shape than so many other people.

1. You are married, so dont have the problem of getting married before I-485 approved.

2. You have a stable job... (u are planning on taking vacations, that means u have a stable job :) )

3. The dates are pretty close by for approval..

There are so many people out there.... I-485 is pending... they should get married before its approved. They can't do it till they find a stable job... they cant find a good job till they get their GC... its like this mad / stupid/ frustrating loop.

So dont worry dma_va.... you will hear those magic words very very soon ;)

by the way.... ur life is not out of control .... its actually in control ;)

dma_va I agree with you Gc really Sucks , for the past few months I applied for Home mortgage loan , the bank does not give me loan on EAD which is expiring August 27 2002 they need at least more than one year , luckily my case was approved on 21st and the problem is solved . So believe in God some day you will see the light at the end of the GC Tunnel..Good luck to you guys .

And also for your suggestions to enhance Rupnet.I couldn\'t have done it without you all.
I think GC waiting definitely teaches you patience.I am still waiting even though the vsc processing dates are 08/01/01 which is same as my RD and the waiting seems to be never ending.
The only way I console myself is thinking about people with RDs in may, June are still waiting.
God help us all and expedite the gc processing for all of us.

Have you ever considered that there is no God?

If there is a God why is he so unfair?
Why does "He" keep testing \'good\' people?
Why does "He" keep giving good stuff to the wicked and underserving? (how else can you explain Habib and Hugh Hefner?)

Whys is God a "He" and not a "She"?

Don\'t pl. try to dissect GOD into various names and make it another thread for endless arguments amongst people. My intent on starting this thread(a light hearted one at that) was just to wonder at the unfairness of the nature (call it GOD or life or whatever)
 
Why blame GOD for just Green Card!!!!!!

If GOD was Fair no one should have had the need to immigrate to another Country for a better living. Better living standards should be available for everybody.. isn\'t it???? Then there will be no need for immigration. Then may be all these bodyshoppers, Immigration Attorneys, middle men... will be cursing GOD because they cannot make money out of destitute aliens like us.

To the point of K3G..........

Man\'s quest for progress never stops. He always finds a reason/path for going ahead. That probably is the reason, people started emigrating (for want of good life). Once there, the quest still won\'t stop but it\'s only when the logic fails, GOD is remembered. It just happened to be GC in this stage of life. GOD\'s services will be summoned by man at every other stage in life whenever logic of progress will be defied......... I guess me going too far.
 
Why do people believe in a God?

If God is supposed to be more virtuous than Humans and if He/She is very pure and is showing us the right path to follow, why then is He/She so unfair. Does that mean His/Her followers are okay with being unfair? Does that mean Hitler and Saddam are okay? Why did God watch while 6 million of his followers were massacred in WW2? Why does he allow his so called sheep to be destroyed every single day … all in the name of religion? How does your God justify the blind and crippled? the under privileged? If man is to take up responsibilities and undergo all hardships, why then is there a God? Why cant God create a peaceful and happy earth? Did God make man or man make God? ( the last line was stolen from a Rajini song!)
