Hi,
I have read that an H1b holder can attent school full-time while he/she is working. Can anyone verify that?
from the uscis.gov:
"Must an H-1B alien be working at all times?
As long as the employer/employee relationship exists, an H-1B alien is still in status. An H-1B alien may work in full or part-time employment and remain in status. An H-1B alien may also be on vacation, sick/maternity/paternity leave, on strike, or otherwise inactive without affecting his or her status."
Seems like I could go to school for my masters while on my H1B and work part-time or not work at all as long as my company is ok with that?
What do you think?
Thanks,
N
