after 6 yrs of h visa limit is it possible that i convert back to h-4 based on my spouses g.c pending,go back to my home country for 1 year and come back on h-4 to US and restart fresh 6 yrs h-1 visa?coz getting back to US by way of getting h-1 from my home country is very difficult.that too if i stayed for so long they know i am a potential immigrant

When you return on H1, you are allowed to have immigration intent. The H1b (and I believe the L1) visa allows 'dual intent'. There would be no difference from that aspect whether you return on H1 or H4.
Once you have shown immigration intent (by filing of a I140 with you as the beneficiary or by filing I485), you might encounter difficulty entering on one of the strictly non-immigrant J1, F1 or B1/2 visas.

u previously suggested about the fact that in 2nd year may be one can look out for a group who are willing to take me as future employee and apply for my g.c.so can they initiate and advertise for labour in 2nd year itself?

how easy or how difficult is it to be able to get a job so early during residency itself,so that i can join them immediately after i finish?

has any one been successful this way and how often?

my spouse spoke to his lawyer on this aspect,he said the same thing that lot of states allow to apply for job after 1 yr of training and he said it happened to many a cases he had taken up and was sucessful.
just hoping that our i-485 and ead comes by then which is 5 yrs from now.

I signed my contract 18months in advance. I am in a high-demand specialty, so a group was happy to secure my services that far in advance.

In most states, you have to have 2 or even 3 years of residency in order to get a medical license. US graduates get it after 1 year.

so u mean say if i am doing residency in last 3 yrs of my h-1,then only in 2yrs of residency i can get sponcer once i am liscenced, but that way i may run out of time for g.c application?
i thought after 1 year ur liscenced in some states.
so if this is the case how do i go about?
you said you signed 18 months in advance,so u must have completed ur residency?
