Glass for biometrics?

I wonder whether we need to remove the eye-glasses for digital picture during biometrics.

I removed my glasses

I went for biometrics at Sanjose office.The staff is requested me to remove the glass because of glare.I removed it.

I don't follow why they made such request. since GC is sort of ID, you are supposed to have it as you usully do, as in the case of driver's license.

Rule of thumb is to have similar photo as your driving license (ID which you carry ).but the final decision is in the hands of people at FP office . in my case they have asked me if i use more of eye glass or contact . i perfered eye glass .
