Ginnu please help Arrested before any Impact on AOS

4 years back i was arrested for Domestic Violence but the judge dismmissed it and i was convicted for Infraction (section 415.1).

i have an interviewed scheduled for my AOS. My attorney had clearly mentioned about this section se ction 415 not being a Crime of moral turpitude. Still i have been called for an interview.

I need help to understand if this can be a serious matter to the extent that I be deported or denied my AOS.

After this incident I have entered into US several times was interviewed for a H1B stamping outside of USA without any problem. Everytime i used checkmark yes to the qs whether I hawas arrested before.

will appreciate advise from the senior members

When is your 485 interview? Please post details.
Also please let me know when you applied for H1 stamp with an arrest record.
Did u get visa before or after sep11?
 
i got my H1 stamped in 2003...no problem at all..i had an interview in the consulate for the H1 visa. Even though I had mentioned it very clearly on the OF156 form about my arrest etc., he didn;t even ask me a single qs pertaining to the arrest.

my interview is next month for 485...

Thanks a lot for your response niladri.. I have sent a private message to you. My case is similiar to 'undone'. I am wondering what happened to his interview. Any input would be a great help for me at this time.
