This is just a proposal. The White House does not even present a formal legislative draft. So nobody (your lawyer included) can answer any real questions about this without seeing a piece of the actual legislation.

If the court issues a final denial of asylum in your case, then from the tenor of the Bush statement you should be able to take advantage of the new visa and continue to work here for a maximum of six years. Also bear in mind that this will not lead to a green card.

Since my asylum was denied and I am going through courts and ....(Fitting to stay) still waiting .I would like to know.

What is my immigration status?

What em I considered a refuge..., illegal alien ,are something else ?? I heard that there are people in USA more than 20y's in country who are pying taxes got jobs houses, but no legal status,
Dos not make scenes to me.!Pres Bush give brake to ellegals but nothing for us that are already here long time in country and fitting to stay.
. How come no body ever broad up this question?
Thank you , and I aprecciate your answer.
