Getting transfered out of US

Guys,

Any info would help. I am being asked to take up a position in the UK
just got my FP done last week october. Still have not rcvd the approval.

What are my options.
1/ Can the process go on unhindered living out of US.
2/ When i get the approval will i have to enter and live in US, i will
   still be working with the same employer and *probably* even getting
   paid here in US.
