I have a friend who has asked me a question regarding a possible immigration issue so I thought that I’d run it by the gurus on this forum. I hope I have posted in the right section. I have only a limited knowledge of the immigration process since my parents are immigrating under the IR5 category and I’ve been learning what I can. My friend is not a US citizen. My friend’s brother is a dentist who is setting up a practice. This means he needs office staff. He wants to hire his brother (my friend) to work at the office permanently. Any ideas on how to do this? What’s his first step? Does he get a GC after working a while? Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
