I had my N-600 oath ceremony about 2 months ago. I was never given social security number because I entered while visiting my father knowing would get approved quite quickly.
So I went into social security office to file form/documents, worker typed certificate of citizenship number into system said it was not in system yet, he said not a big deal and said that in 10-14 days would receive my card. Felt it was really quick. Was 3 minutes to 3pm on a friday so figure he was trying to wrap it up quickly
Now 16 days later no card, should I continue to wait or go in to office again to see what is taking so long or is this normal.
