I received my GC on 10/07/02 and was laid off on 11/30/02. I joined a new employer on 12/04/02. I sent my N-400 for naturalization on 02/12/2009. I have termination letter/mail from the firm that sponsored my GC and since i worked for only 45 days after my GC was apporved, would it impact my citizenship approval.

No - this should not have an impact on your naturalization application whatsoever. And in the unlikely event the issue comes up - you have the proof of termination through no fault of your own (lay off) - so you are covered.

Hi Guys,
I am also in the same boat. I had my GC on 6/27/2002 and the company was announced a 30% layoff on July 1st which included my name also. I found a new job in a week. Too worried. I have only paystubs till july end and company public statements that economy went sour and we are forced to layoff so many people.
Is it safe to withdraw the application?
