I have been applying for permanent job and maybe getting a good offer in the same 5% range of the LC. The title maybe different bu the job is similar.

My attorney has always said that until I am employed in the same field I should be OK, as we can get a letter from the new employer.

He says for AC21 BCIS looks for Permannet job, Salary and job Decription as the main things.

My details are:

PD: 04/1998
RD: 03/2002
ND: 04/2002

I am on my second EAD and this is a chance for me I was waiting. Backup my ex-employer is also willing to stand by me if need, in case we need to show future employemnt.

I was hopeful that by July, 2003 I would get my GC but hey still I guess 3 more months.

What do I do, comtemplating and thinking a lot on this issue

I am guessing cases like yours is the reason AC21 was enacted, to get the ball and chain off our feet ;) Make sure you can answer everything BCIS can throw at you, make sure your attorney is a 100% behind you and then grab the offer. Time to move on with your life.

Yeah I have been with this company for more than 7 years now...

Time to move on, I also guess.

The attorney is with me, my would be ex-employer will be with me, and the US office of the new company is with me

The only thing is that the HR of the new company sits in London and have not spoken about AC-21 or anything to them.

My attorney says just that they give us a letter of permananet job offer, which we might also use the origianl offer letter should be enough.

We shud not be penalized for the lax of efficiency at the INS a.k.a BCIS a.k.a USCIS office

March2002Tracker,

Are you by any chance currently live in NJ, is the new job in NJ (to be specific in Englewood) ?

Please note that living or getting a job won't affect your AC21 case, I am just curious to know.

March2002Tracker,

Thanks for answering my question.

Actually I was scheduled to be interviewed for a job at Englewood, NJ. A day before the scheduled day they said they want to reschedule the interview and now it is almost two weeks and I never heard back from them. Head office for this company is in London.
