Getting my kid to Canada

Hi,
I wanted to know if my sister(A GC holder in Canada) can take my kid a US citizen and go to Canada without any problem?
Basically they are both in India now and I wanted her to get my kid to Canada so I can pick up the kid from Canada.
Is that alright?
Does my sister need any documents indicating she is a guardian for my kid etc.

Yes !

She would need a letter of authority from the parents (which is you and your wife) that he is okay to travel with your sis to canada .

Provide as much detail as possible in the letter. I had my in-laws bring my kids into Canada without any problem. Also, you must notarize your signature.
