I've recently started my OPT. According to immigration attorneys and H1B specialists I've consulted, it appears that it is OK for a fiancee' to come to the US on a B1/B2 visa, get married here, and then apply for H-4 status together with me, who will be applying for H1-B status.
My main concern is when she comes into the US port of entry with a one-way ticket, stating that she intends to get married and change her Visa status. Will she run into problems? Does she need addiitonal documentation? I have heard that her I-94 will be stamped with a B2 stamp. Is this correct? Anybody out there passed through similar circumstances?
