I'm a Canadian citizen would like to get married to a Moroccan lady in Morocco. Can some one please advise me on what are the legal steps I should follow before going there, as I heard that the legal marriage can not proceed unless I have permission from the Canadian government stating that I'm allowed to do so, also a letter confirming my income and that I'm able to support my wife. Please let me know if you have been in a similar situation and where do I get those letters from. Thank you
