Getting married + employment based

I am currently in US on a H-1B visa. I have applied for my green card and got the I-140 approved + EAC. My I-485 is pending in Vermont from Nov 03 (they are currently Nov 02).
I am getting married to a US lass in Feb 05.
How easy is it to file the forms for the marriage based green card?
Should I get a lawyer to do this?
Being that I'm waiting adjustment of status (I-485), how does this affect the marriage based green card?
I heard that changing from Vermont to Boston speeds up the I-485 approval. Is this something that I can do (I couldn't find the process to do this)?

Cheers in advance.

It is very easy to prepare the marriage based 485 application. There are forms that you can download from USCIS website. especially if you have filed your employment based I485, you can pretty much reuse the same information You may want to get an updated medical report if necessary..

People do this filing by themselves since it is a simple process. Hiring a lawyer depends on your wallet size. :) . This forum has plenty of threads that could guide you in each and every steps.

When you prepare the biographic sheet for your new I485, make sure you declare the same information that you specified in your employment based I485 application. the BCIS will adjudicate the I-485 application depending on which one comes first in their list (based on timelines). However you have to withdraw one of your I-485 application at the time of interview/adjudication.

Hope this helps.
