Hi all,
I was an international student here in the US and am now working in an international public accounting firm on H1B. I came to the US with B2 visitor visa and changed my status to F1. I graduated with a Bachelor of Business Admin in accounting degree. I was on OPT for a year and changed to H1B. I have never left the US since I came in 2001. I was thinking of traveling to Asia next summer. I want to know if it's going to be a big problem for me to apply for H1B visa either from Canada/Indonesia? Considering Indonesia is a country where the majority of its citizens are muslims. I am a Chinese Indonesian. I am a Catholic and I don't have a muslim name. I am just very nervous and concerned about the whole visa application thing, although maybe I shouldn't since I have done nothing wrong. My main concern is the fact that I didn't come here on F1 in the beginning but on B2 then decided to go back to school and changed to F1. Please if any of you can help me.....especially those that are in the same boat. Thanks.
