Wondering if anyone has successfully got a non-immigrant visa stamp in the passport after being convicted in the US. My thought is even if one is still eligible to get a non-immigrant visa based on the INA, a "yes" to the conviction question on DS-156 will prompt the Visa officer to "grill" you during the interview and deny your visa based on whatever reason they can think of. Please share thoughts.
